Hello and welcome to my Teaching Portfolio!
Originally from Westfield, Indiana, I attended Butler University (Go Dawgs!) where I studied Psychology and French. During my time at Butler, I became increasingly interested in developmental psychology. In 2014, I began my PhD at Boston College studying Developmental Psychology in the Infant and Child Cognition Lab with Dr. Sara Cordes. My research has explored how children and adults perceive time, number, and other quantities. Additionally, I am interested in how children learn difficult quantitative concepts like division and fractions. Since receiving my PhD in Developmental Psychology from Boston College in 2019, I have been employed as an Assistant Professor of Psychological Science and Neuroscience at Belmont University. In this role, I teach numerous psychology courses including, but not limited to, Scientific Psychology, Lifespan Development, Research in Child Development, and Research Methods.
